Richard Armstrong Garren, 80, of Hendersonville died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Elizabeth House.

Mr. Garren was born February 22, 1933 in Henderson County to the late Otis and Emma Revis Garren. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from Ecusta.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Shepherd Memorial Park, Rev. Roy Perry officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ruth Hill Garren and their son Cliffton R. Garren of the home. Other survivors include several grateful nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be directed to Four Seasons Hospice.
