William "Bill" Arthur Sink

William Arthur “Bill” Sink, Sr. age 67 of Etowah died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Hock Family Pavillion, Intensive Care, Duke Medical Center in Durham. He was born June 7, 1945 in Durham Co., NC.

He was a graduate of Western Carolina University and was in education for 27 years including private and public forums. He was an educator in Jackson County for 14 years and in Henderson County serving as Principal of West Henderson High School, Apple Valley Middle School and Administrator for Henderson County Board of Education. He retired in 1999 and is a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Paula Sink, his mother Katie Sink, his mother-in-law Helen Swayngim, his children Will Sink, Eric Sink, Ian Sink and Kristen Jones; grandchildren Henry, Jonathon, Zane, Grace, Holly, Zeb, Ashlynn, Sarah, Hayden, Anna, Zeke and Emily; his brother Craig Sink and his wife Leslie Sink

He was preceded in death by his father William H. Sink and an infant daughter Angela Sink.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the fellowship hall of the Hendersonville Church of Christ.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Hendersonville Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Hendersonville Church of Christ, Small Groups Ministry, 1975 Haywood Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28791
