Mary Ellen Reed Case, age 92 of Flat Rock, died Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018. She was born November 1st, 1925 in Henderson County; a daughter of the late Elliot and Florence Ward Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Ralph Edward Case, Sr. one son, Ralph Edward “Eddie” Case, Jr. one daughter, Sandra C. Hebb; five brothers, Monroe, Leon, Richard, Merriman and Ted Reed of Henderson County.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Lee Hebb and his wife, Linda; one daughter-in-law, Susan B. Case; two grandsons, Shannon Hebb and his wife, Mary and Jeremy Case and his wife, Carol; one granddaughter, Monica Fisher and her husband, Stephen; two great-grandsons, Bryce and Peyton Fisher, Kooper and Grayson Case; one great-granddaughter, Ashtyn Fisher; and by one brother, Ned Reed and his wife, Mildred.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church officiated by the Pastor Keith Sizemore. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
