James Wade Harrelson, age 64 of Hendersonville, died Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at the Elizabeth House. He was born May 30th, 1953 at Cannon A.F.B. in Clovis, New Mexico; a son of Nancy J. James Wade Harrelson, age 64 of Hendersonville, died Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at the Elizabeth House. He was born May 30th, 1953 at Cannon A.F.B. in Clovis, New Mexico; a son of Nancy J. Harrelson of Hendersonville and the late, Carl E. Harrelson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, David M. Harrelson.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Harrelson; two daughters, Julia Wilkes (Jeff) of Jacksonville, FL and Jennifer McCraw Simmons of Hendersonville; two sons, Kenny McCraw (Toni) of Etowah and Joe McCraw (Erin) of SC; sixteen grandchildren that were the joy of his life; one brother, Ed Harrelson (Tanya) of TX; one sister, Terry Rogers (Jerry) of Hendersonville and by several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 in Thos. Shepherd’s Church Street Chapel officiated by the Reverend Dwayne Styles. Burial will follow in Shaw’s Creek Campground Cemetery.

His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
